About Us

Dr. Gary Koch is a licensed psychologist and the owner/clinical director of Psychology and Learning Center (PLC).  For over ten years, Dr. Koch worked as a school psychologist, outpatient therapist, and clinical psychologist across a number of settings. When he opened his practice/ PLC in 2017,  he sought to break down barriers in the mental health world that he had observed during his time working in schools and clinics.  Whether it was through neuropsychological evaluation, counseling, or consultation with families, his goal was to ensure that a client could receive any level of care or assistance needed—not just through his own individual services, but through collaboration with schools, primary care doctors, and other servicing agencies.  

Through this client-centered and collaborative framework, Dr. Koch has brought together a team of passionate psychologists, therapists, medication managers, and administrative staff that have helped transform PLC from a small private practice to a large and multi-faceted behavioral health agency. PLC is proud to provide a variety of outpatient behavioral health needs under one roof, and our providers work collaboratively to ensure continuity of care for all our patients.  Dr. Koch shares Theodore Roosevelt’s quote, “Nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care.” This belief has and continues to define the approach at PLC.

PLC continues to grow not just in the number of providers, but in the understanding of the complex behavioral health world.  PLC is always open to feedback and collaboration with any and all outside providers in an effort to provide the best care and service for our patients.
